Ah, but you are an old 7000 owning member! I take it that you have added this to the essential list?!
-
Congratulations! I believe I have the service manual somewhere if it is not already on!
-
classic: The essentials - is easy for me Beolab 5000 / Beomaster 5000 / Beovox 5000 / Beovox 2500 Cube / StereowidthRegulator / Beogram 3000 (Thorens TD 124-II) --- these products are really great, sound / design / styling. After a total restoration the sound of the complet system is really great. I do go for systems when I choose products, I know how

For those venturing mainly into just the General Forum, try exploring the depths! We are having a thread about the essentials in any Beo addicts collection here ! Please join in!

I suspect that the present box will work but that one of two things has happened: 1. The wrong code for the STB-C is being used. 2. The IR blaster is stuck in the wrong place! I suspect this is the most likely reason as it is often not that obvious! Which box does he have and I imagine one of us has the same one and we can advise where to stick it
-
That sounds most odd! A Sky+ box is available , with monthly subscription , for £99 and a £30 fitting charge. I cannot see that shipping it to and from Denmark will do anything but cost more. If the STB-C has the latest software, and if in a BV9 it will, the Sky+ will work. A plain Sky box is available free and fitting will cost £30

Price increases in the UK seem to be limited to the Beolab range.
-
Spurred on by another thread, what pieces should every B&O collector have in his collection? Maybe three suggestions each! I would suggest : Beogram 400X Beomaster 1900/2400 etc Beomaster /Beolab 5000 What do you think? Obviously the way to do this is to think of three different pieces to those above or listed following this and if you disagree
-
I am afraid it is the typical reaction of another junkie! I think it is probably time to have another 'What every true B&O collector should have in his collection thread' !! You seem very well on the way.
-
Agree the new BV7 is imminent - and word is that there is no increase in price , at least for the UK! Should be a very impressive set and full HD.
