classic: Peter: classic: The essentials - is easy for me Beolab 5000 / Beomaster 5000 / Beovox 5000 / Beovox 2500 Cube / StereowidthRegulator / Beogram 3000 (Thorens TD 124-II) --- these products are really great, sound / design / styling. After a total restoration the sound of the complet system is really great. I do go for systems when I choose products

Design, yes. Sound quality - less so. It is in essence a double Beomaster 901 - though obviously beefed up a bit. The 3400 sounds better.

The 9500 is ergonomically the best that B&O managed. Performance wise, it does lag behind the 7000 system though using Beolab speakers redresses the balance somewhat. My wife likes it more than any other system that I have and can work it!
