Agree with you! I think B&O are in need of a quick period of upgrading. Obviously some BL9s could be a good start and the BS3 is now excellent. Which BV4 did you have? The true Full HD one? However I will not deny that B&O are lagging a bit at present. I think Masterlink needs to be upgraded and that the LCD screens are still not that impressive

Never worked out the difference myself, but they are labelled differently and I seem to remember that one has a hole in the magnet!! The 141 goes at the top and has an extra coil in the circuit so I suppose is the woofer, and the 143 is at the bottom in direct connection with the tweeter! Seems to be practically a full range driver!

They come up pretty regularly - usually expensive. They don't add massively to the sound though - they broaden the stereo image a bit - but they do look nice! Patience - took me a couple of years to find mine!!

Unlike the C2300 this was a unique speaker and not just a rebadged one. They come up from time to time but are too heavy for most people to ship across the water. Besides, I am

Medogsfat: Peter: If you have a 5500, I would actually get Penta 1s as they will be much cheaper and you will need to use Speakerlink anyway. Make sure the cones are OK. If not bargain the price down further and buy new units. Available from B&O still. Definately go for the Penta's, they are in a different league all together from the RL 60

I take it that the C2300 is a C class speaker specifically designed for the 2300 system?! Never even heard of that one! We will have to meet up when I next come to Denmark!

There is collecting and COLLECTING!! Yours is a real collection - one I dare say B&O are envious of. Quite an archive! Have you got the 3600 or 2300 yet?

Scratches will polish out to a degree. Dents are the real problem as they always look obvious. It is possible to replace the metal if your are feeling brave!!!
