• Re: beocom 5 sw

Sure! Why not!? Version 1.8.33.4.6.A.3566g.2 should be along any day now!

  • Re: Affordable in wall light control in the US

If the 3103 is outside your budget, the single dimmers are the only option available, but they work very well. I recently augmented my home system with occupation sensors and have found them to be the absolute ideal solution for most rooms. This way only my complex lighting zones are controlled via "scene" logic via keypads or remotes.

  • Re: How Touch Sensitive is your BeoTime?

I think it would be more accurately described as "brisk tap sensitive"

  • Re: current TVs compatible with BeoSystem 1

Can't speak to models that have the ability to control the screen's power, but pretty much any television screen with a VGA will do the job. We're doing a setup right now with a bunch of 12" monitors attached to BeoSystem 1s and it works fine.

  • Re: masterlink gateway

I don't, though I have it in the field working with Crestron products, with which it works well. I use it with Lutron Homeworks and homeworks drives my automation tasks either directly (lighting & shades) or as a "middle man" via contact closure. I have an MLGW at home, one in my shop, and many in the field. I have yet to use it with a Savant system, but it's been reliable with everything else. I'm a huge proponent of it.

  • Re: Newest Masterpiece?

It's the BeoVision 10. It's being merchandised on a wall among other "works of art" to showcase just how slim a profile it is. We just started the construction today to put our "gallery wall" together. TVs should arrive in the coming days.

  • Re: BeoCom 5 sound problems

Paul, I'm running the penultimate software version on my shop phones right now. There were 2-3 versions since the first release that we've been testing. There were issues other than the sound quality as well. The sound on the latest version is fantastic so you should be pleased when they load it on your phone.

  • Re: Can PCBs be repaired??
I suspect the repair technician is also cheaper to employ if repairs are made at the module level.
That's true of many of the skilled trades I work with. Installers suffer the same problem. I've watched a few really great guys over the years essentially price themselves out of the market by becoming
