Maybe B&O dont want to adopt blue ray or samsung! just yet here is a review- not good reading! More debatable is an issue seen in all of the initial Lionsgate titles that have opted to include regular DTS audio instead of PCM. When you choose the DTS soundtrack, the video becomes noticeably jerky, a problem that goes away if you choose Dolby Digital

Will beo 4 control it though??

whilst I agree the BL5 is a great speaker I dont think this has resulted in many 'over the border' sales to audiophiles. They dislike the fixed equalisation and many other aspects of the speakers performance. Little point raising all the demerits here but the facts are one will neevr convince this type of person regarding B&O. I know most

Well that all sounds very good. these kind of products are what we refer to in the trade as being 'pure theatre' in other words not in the real commercial world and these companies do not make money. If you look at the reviews of the 8800 scirroco you will find that battery life is still classed as apalling for this price of phone. I tried all the batteries but in the end gave up. In addiiton I find the audio quality very poor

As someone who runs an audiobusiness in China I think there is a balance to be made here. Firstly, sales of up market hifi are rising in the Asia but falling in UK, most of Europe and the USA. Not many high end audio companies are making any money either. Ive recently been involved with a very high end brand and despite reasonable sales they cannot

I think the problem here is not so much B&O its the fact its LCD! There is a limit to what one can do with this technology and im sure that in ten years from now we will say- did people really buy LCD back then when its soooo much worse then CRT!

The D9 panel was supposed to be released in september last year in fact I did not get mine until April. I doubt therefore that the screen will be available until spring. Especially as they have D9 panels in stock!

Dont think you can get dynalight now. In any event the ones that I had buzzed very badly and the response from Beo 4 is rather poor, you have to point very accurately at the dynalight to make it work.
