Personnaly, I think of this setup with a HDMI 4x2 switch (4 inputs, 2 outputs : one for the BV8, the second for the beamer). This way you're able to connect 4 HDMI peripherals to your BV8 AND your beamer.

The fact that the screens are so small and that it's just standard monochrome LCD makes it look cheap, but I like the innovative design. Now that I'm used to my ceiling-projected time, it will be hard for me to come back to this conventionnal, small and not very convenient way to display the time...
