Hi Keith, I'm actualy uploading my configuration file but I always get an error message "Problem loading page" after clicking "upload xml file". It is 3,2MB big - this seems to be the problem for the Beo 5 configuration tool; but personaly I don't think that there are too many icons!? Is there any way to shrink it down? Do

Hi Keith, yes, I'm 100% sure as the icon worked on Firmware 1.34a and config tool V1.3 :-) I tried to use about 30 icons but even with only 10-15 I get this error message!? I can't understand that as it worked with the older software ... Perhaps other members are interested in those icons, too? I could upload my whole set and other members can

I can imagine that this was a realy big "AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!" I think I will try out the tools mentioned in the above link to the sonos forum. If I can live with those limitations I will only rip selected CDs to WAV format with minimal tagging. I can't wait to get my Beosound 5!!!!!

For me that was a very interesting review! I love it when people go into the deep materials and explore and/or modify products to see how they work, how well they work etc. What I can't understand is the "sound tuning" (Bass + 3, Treble -3 etc.). I personaly prefer neutral sound as this is the reason a good speaker was constructed for

So, I've finaly found the solution: Normal configuration without graphic icons works perfectly. When I'm adding my own icons to every zone, menu and light I get the USB-error-message or some times a "configuration too large" error message. So it seems to be a bad software problem which shows that the Beo 5 doesn't seem to be perfect

thank you for this interesting link, puncher. It realy sounds interesting 'cause it mentioned one thing I completely forgot about: ID3 tags and WAV does not work together and I don't want 250 CDs named "Track 1 Album X" :-) But I will test it out with my ears as soon as my BS5 arrives ;-)
