As you say the PUC does not have the BD-3600 but it does have the BD-4600 and I can confirm that both units use the same protocol and carrier frequency and teh commands available in each can be seen in the screen shots below. The first shot is for the BD-1200

David, A Very Warm welcome to Beoworld. Whilst there is a built in delay for numbers, I would not say it is 45 seconds, just a few seconds The delay is built in to allow a user to enter more than one digit. In most cases pressing OK (centre button) quickly twice will terminate the delay and execute the requirements.

Gary, You could run the DriverInstaller utility which is part of the installation programme, but if my memory serves me correctly that will just unzip all the files including the logos and will not actually reinstall the driver. Having said that it will certainly not cause you a problem if you were to run it. I am assuming you are running Windows XP

Gary, Sorry to hear you have started having problems downloading your updated configuration. I am assuming you have kept a backup copy of your "Configuration.xml" file ? OK Simon, based on your statement then I am guessing that we are likely to be looking for a component breakdown or change of component tolerence as the set heats up. You stated that it is a "Flicker" which manifests itself as a line anywhere on the screen. Are you talking about a horizontal line and if so is it a scan line thinkness or wider

Lars, The installation instructions for the DVB-S/T module are NOT in the Beovision 7-40 Service Manual It has its own installation Manual, but even if you have the manual and install the DVB-S/T without problems you will need to get your dealer to update the Beovision with the Service Tool.

Simon, Can you expand on flicker/wobble because for me flicker and wobble are very different symptoms. Given you say that the picture is sharp and with good colour tends to mean its not one of the common power supply issues. Can you provide a more detailed " Problem Statement " please
