We haven't really seen or grasped all fatures of the BS5 yet. Nobody knows for example if it will do gapless playing or how it is "fed" from the PC, especially when Beoplayer is not used which shuld be the case for many (Itunes Ipod User). I think we have to ask the question again in March or May or whenever they are done with it.

I think these certifications are issued based on specs and plans and maybe early pre production models. You would still have to run through testing and training and so on to get it into production. Durch offizielle Kanaele kan man den Rahmen nur erwerben wenn man einen BV4 hat (Seriennummer). Ein eigenes Panel druntersetzenwure hier mal gemacht, ist aber Bastelarbeit und die Kontrastscheibe fehlt was den look veraendert. The iphone is in its own little world. If you want to use it as a phone only there is no point. Someone here called the Serene a Dress Phone which in my opinion nails it. There are some restrictions what third party plasmas you can run with the BS 3. I dont know what the latest is, that probably gets more attention under a new thread. There are quite a few peeps around here that do that. Even if you have to stretch a little, a BS would get you much further then dropping 2000 on a short term workaround. Cheers JK P.s
