  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Since I have no vinyl and no pretty artwork to show I figured I would try a substitute, so here are a few of this afernoon's selections. All being piped through my Form-2s Just taking it easy here, lounging around this sunny afternoon

  • Re: BEOLAB 5 IS A BARGAIN !

I will say that every time I run into audiophiles or my few audiophile friends, I usually end up preaching to them how they should just enjoy their music, and stop fussing! Why do it at all if you are not enjoying the music? Initially I bought B&O for its sound/engineering merits. I now consider appearance also, but it isnt my first priority. My

  • Re: Beo 6 remote

Since it will be using WiFi for communicating, the original BeoSound 5 will need a ML Gateway in the network somewhere. I know next to nothing about ML so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Re: New BC3500 - no sound from one channel and 3 bulbs blown

Hi Simon, congrats on your new piece! Without a doubt, you should change out all of the electrolytic capacitors. If you are good with a soldering iron, you should have no problem doing this. Speaking of capacitors, have a look at your power caps, they are parked right up against the metal transformer "lunchbox" and see if they are leaking

They will most likely be my new favorite once I find a more suitable environment for them. As far as vintage goes, the 2500 is the absolute zenith. However I am practically in love

  • Re: B&O Sheep Confiscated!!

What a story! Good to see a dealer having fun, and to see this one so bent on getting the sheep back! I've had two sheepdogs and think one would be a great companion for the flock - even if they are decor!

  • Re: Beomaster 4400 - slowly developing issues!

A good set of Nichicon caps, such as the 'Muse" variety, are easy to come by online and only cost about $30 including shipping. However, if the problem lies in the power caps, you may be looking at $10-20 each! I'm sure Martin has a cap set standing by!
