They can rewind units if necessary. Worth contacting Wilmslow Audio if in the UK to see if they stock something similar. They are Peerless suppliers.

A big thanks to Gerd who has supplied us with some scanned manuals for the site. The Penta is now well covered as is the Beolab 8000 and Beolab 150. Many thanks. If anyone discovers holes in our manual collection and can fill them, please contact me.

B&O sell a clever SCART lead with a code converter built in which allows you to control some DVD players and recorders. They keep this very quiet!!! The list of products it is supposed to control is small and all out of date but some companies use the same codes for a lot of their products - Panasonic being one of them. I use the codes for a DMR

What is wrong with the olf one? It might be easier to get it repaired. Recone Lab did mine.

I actually use a Panasonic DMR-EH60D which has a digital tuner built in as well as analogue and has a large HDD, and a DVD-R - no HDMI or HD DVD though. It actually works to a large extent with the DVD controller sold by B&O.

Hate to say it but no! I do have the 7000, 7002 and 7700 though! The 7000 needs putting on which I will do today (It is a bit big so will need splitting!) The tape deck will probably be belts - very common!

How do you select it? There was an option to have a RIAA fitted to the 6500/7000 but the kits I saw slotted in the back rather than had an extra flying lead and replaced the original phono socket.

Where do you live? And the answer to the platter is to take the belt off.
