Play: I love the setup I have but I'm aware that a BV3 will one day in the not too distant future become obsolete, and I will have to change to an LCD screen anyway. I had planned to hold out for as long as possible before I went down the LCD route because I don't really think the picture comes near a tube TV for quality, but this BV7 has come

Seems a fair review. Obviously if you have a Masterlink set up, it holds some more attractions. There is no doubt that it is expensive for a 26" TV, but B&O TVs always have been. The LX6000 was expensive when that was out and the Avant similarly. However I still have both of these because they are worth holding onto. Can't give away a Panasonic

I would leave them as original. The buyer can easily change them if he wishes.

An excellent cause - donation added.

Speakerlink carries data as well as signal but not as much as Powerlink. Look at the system manual 89-90 for a diagram on page 7-3. You can find the manual, which is superb, here .

It needs cleaning - there is a damper cylinder that has silicon fluid in it and which gums up. manually moving the arm up and down when released might get it working but it needs cleaning and refilling. The service manual is on site for both types of 4002.

It was Craig's helmet - the first one that has ever fitted me! The Pious should arrive soon! Have decided that it is a grown up car! Fast enough, big enough, economical and lots of creature comforts! And Clarkson hates them!

The basic SMMC4 is extremely good. I would not bother going any further up the tree! It is quite a bit better than the original MMC4 .

marcus_m: Peter, have you already uploaded the new version of the BL8000 service manual? I just had a look and page 20 is still missing.... Many thanks, Marcus The new one also has page 20 missing!!!!!

I think I am right in saying that although Maxell tapes are very good, they have a reputation for being slightly more abrasive.
