Not listed in any B&O literature. What you need is someone to try! Or try yourself if you have the bits. I think the problem will end up being having two audio masters on one system and you will get an operation conflict which will make the system crash. But I have not tried it!

I am ending this thread as I do not think it is fair to chat about someone who has no chance to reply to this. I will be interested to see what Ian comes up with. I don't really think our criticising him is any better than what he has in his site about us. I would request that we just drop the subject.

Wings: Thanks to all of you for your help. Forgive me for being a technophobe and asking the following: Peter - I have a BM7000 and a BC2500. Can I use these to use the speakers in a "passive" mode? If yes, how? Alex - I take it that I can disconnect the cables from each speaker, switch them around [i.e., left speaker to right, right speaker

Agree - to an extent! DAB is rather good for the spoken word though! Radio 5 Sports Xtra gives much better sound than LW or indeed MW - we can get the cricket on 603 in Newcastle! However it sounds better on DAB. Music is disappointing except for Radio 3 - when the cricket isn't on! I think they reduce the bandwidth when it is. To get back to the

I wouldn't do it! Go for some second hand 4000s - much better! The 4 PC have no powerlink sockets and are pretty average speakers.

I would just buy a new SMMC1 and send it to you when I got it. Straight swap and I live in the UK so there are no other taxes. However if Soundsmith are being so reasonable, I would go with them.
