Extremely kind of you! Yes please!

It will have two plugs - one red and the other white or black. These are RCA connectors. They will fit on the BM5500 directly but you will need an adapter for the 6500. Don't really see the point as you will not have full remote control using your B&O remote. I would either get a NAD amplifier or a B&O CD player!

garethingram1: I am NOT a teccie, nor do I know what the technical names for all the different types of connections ! Am, considering buying a second hand Beomaster 6500 as a radio /amp for my existing CD player and passive speakers. In theory it should be wonderful. There may be a newer one but this one is from this year. I'll see if I can get a newer one if available!! We are not really supposed to have it anyway!

Try to get the PCG program working as it explains things in the set up instructions that it issues.

Essentially change the .pdf ending to .exe . It only works on a PC unfortunately!

I think it best if you deal directly with Soundsmith. I think it will be much easier and if they will give you a refund on the 20CL+, you will probably be better off. I was offering to buy a new SMMC1 for you and simply swap it for the CL+ when it looked as though you would get no refund. If this is not the case then there is no sense in complicating

It works directly from the MCL2Av to the device.

Datalink is the language used between components in a system - for instance a tape deck and receiver, Master Control Link is the system used in mainly amplified systems to sent signal and data to link rooms. The signal is at an amplified level. Audio Aux allows integration of video and audio products using a line level signal and datalink - it is two
