I like it. Think it's better to be wide than tall. Anyone knows an aprox price? Trip? Hopefully in the same ballpark as the beo5.

Sounds promising! I'm going to be first in line!!! The Beo5 is great imho, I use it daily, and am quite fond of it. Perfect for the bedroom after the Beo6 I guess!

Hi guys, An old Beocom 6000 set that I have, was brought back to use when I thought, it would look great at Albatros! OK, so I putt the set out of storage, and the handset is completely dead. Not charging, not anything. I bought a new battery off ebay for £5, but the new battery had a two wire connection, the old had a three wire connection..

Graham you are right, the size matters thing in TV's are almost getting out of hand! My flat is not large, my BV5 was even a bit big for the livingroom, if not only for the 42" screen, then for it's massive presence. The bv8 should be scrapped imo. Fugly piece.

A wise move IMHO. Looks like a perfect TV for the bedroom, spare room etc... Should come in a basic version without DD, etc usually not needed for the second TV. (with the option to add features.)
