• Re: Beolink Wireless I - Is it Worth
So life in a tent (with skyhook support) or an igloo with solar power would stand a positive chance? tony
I wish I could say it would be safe, but rustling of the tent canvas would likely cause air molecules to stir irrevocably and thereby lose their ability to carry the signal. As for the igloo you're

  • Re: What is stopping you buying B&O?...
How typical are Trip's customers to those in Denmark? I would say not very typical most affluent europeans desire realistic prices, the BV9 fab though it might be is the price of a harley davidson most people just cant see the B&O value. The american market if its about custom installations seems very limited
What I think is funny that I don't hear anybody complaining about the price of a Rolex. I can't swing most B&O products either, to me it is a luxury item and part of that is that it is expensive. To me I don't think it matters much if they price a BV9 at 15k$ or 20k$. If they could do a BV9 at 3 or 4k

I think you can have a great setup with the BeoLink wireless, but there are a few things you need to avoid: 1. Using wireless internet 2. Using wireless phones 3. Using a microwave 4. Using a cellular phone 5. Speaking loudly 6. Moving too quickly from room to room 7. Wearing shoes in the house 8. Using a vacuum 9. Using a television 10. Using zippers

  • Re: What Makes BeoLab 4000 Superior to BeoLab 2500

For the 4th or 5th time in the last 5 minutes I'll echo Peter here that the proof of the pudding is in the eating! Whatever the spec sheet says your ears will tell the final story. No listening test would ever place the 2500s above or near the 4000s.

  • Re: Could buying of new BeoVision 10 be a big fiasco?

I agree with Peter. I think any quality control issues (and there's a legitimate case to be made that the other thread was a bit of hyperbole to begin with) will be or have been dealt with swiftly and most will be thrilled long-term with their purchase.

  • Re: 3D & B&O TV'S

Rather than get into a debate about what technically has to be in place to enjoy this "benefit," my read on this is that it's a gimmick to force people into another major transition like HD only without the clear benefits. I've tried not to be a curmudgeon about 3D and have given it a shot at the Sony Store in New York and at the IMAX

Well, in a sense you'll get all 4. As Peter rightly comments, 1 is on the way, 3 is on the way in a few ways, and 4 & 1 are essentially the same thing as the new infrastructure goes. As for 2 I think the BV10 & BV8s are steps in this direction. The BV7 models will not likely come down as most of their cost is tied up in manufacturing, materials

It's an internal collection of product documents including manuals, guides, exploded views of parts, tips for installation, etc. Anything pertinent to customers is either in the box with their products or available here on BeoWorld under the various product pages.

  • Re: Masterlink Gateway

Razlaw, Might I recommend you hold off for a few months? For what you're looking for, Lutron's Homeworks QS will probably be your best option. Finally they're going to include T-stat control which means you can do it through their pre-packaged interface. Prior to this, if you wanted t-stat control the best option (imho) was to combine a
