Nope Just a projector and an electric screen, which lowers just in front of the BV5 (with ALT). Works very fine for me.
TV command starts on DECODER Scart (as programmed) and the panel is switched on.
Can you explain what you mean by this? Normally the TV command starts the analog TV tuner inside the BS2. You can download the (D6)panel manual from this site. In this manual is explained how to make the D6 a "real" B&O
Mono jacket means both signals are sent to both boxes, but the box not understanding the signals won't react. So that would not be an issue, right? But I probably miss something here...
Correct.
Could I use a mono ir blaster (one ir at the end, available from lots of companies

Normally a flashing red light means that you have to enter the pincode. More then 10-15 minutes without power and the BC2 asks for a pincode.

You have some advantages if you attach the BL11 directly to the avant (with DD/DTS module). You can control the volume of BL11 independent from the front/rear speakers. And the frequencies send to the BL 11 depends from the type of front speakers you've set in the setup/sound menu.

Why would you buy a scaler? If you purchase a panel that can handle 50hz RGB through VGA, then you ready. It will scale the video-signal itself. Panasonic uses a general procotol for controlling the commercial panels. The cheapest way is to find a D6 or higher (till D8 you can modify it yourself) and re-program by hand some settings inside the panel

The above showed adapter/ir- isn't a splitter. As you can see it has just a 3,5 "mono jacket. B&O uses a splitter a 3,5" stereo jacket where the middle section is the V-Aux and the top section is the DTV/Sat. Both uses the bottom section as a common ground. So, if you can solder a bit, you can make easily one yourself.
Then selected 2 via the beo4 (list, speakers) for front speakers in stereo and subwoofer (Beolab 2). All works fine and tested OK with two more 4000's connected temporarily to the rear speakers.
Sorry for the above placed posting. Didn't read thoroughly.

I'm trying to understand your soundproblem. But if you only have just 2 speakers attached to front and the centre isn't used, you always have to use the SPEAKER 2 option. You start the set and then via the Beo4 you give the speaker 2 instruction. Then the (Centre) dialog will be re-routed to the frontspeakers. The standard speaker option is
Yes this feeds directly to the display. Behind the plastic front (inbetween the two front grills) you'll find the other end, with a connector attached. If you can find the original LCD display's, you can connect them directly to that connector and mount them behind the translucent front. Plug the bottom connector
