JC is a big B&O fan, so he can't be all bad!
A fan of JC for years, but I didn't know this. Did he mentioned this somewhere? For foreigners outside the UK probably not common knowledge. But still I was surprised by his remarks and I think It can affect the commom

  • Re: Quick 2 Pin DIN Plug/Socket Polarity Question

Her objection is that the content is not peer-reviewed and therefore possibly inaccurate. At medical school we are banned from using it too, and I guess if you think of it in that context then it begins to make more sense.

In that case then it's likely to be an electronic issue and I'm not very electronically minded! Someone else may be able to help you though!

Glen The ? appears when the deck can't register that a disc is present in the player. Sometimes this can happen when loading the CD if it slips down a little off the platter, then when the lid closes the spindle doesn't line up with the hole in the centre of the CD. Have a check to make sure the CD is sited properly on that platter!

  • Quick 2 Pin DIN Plug/Socket Polarity Question

I usually buy my 2 pin DIN plugs and sockets from Maplins, but as they were out of stock, I bought some from eBay instead. The cheapo eBay ones don't have the polarity set out on the screw connectors so could someone please remind me what the spade/pins are respectively, and if they're the same on the socket end? Got some speaker cables to make

  • Re: BEOWORLD UK MEET - 2010

VERY nice :) My other neighbour has a Ferrari 430 and that sounds poo in comparison to the R8. I would honestly rather take the Audi for a spin than the Ferrari, even if it is still a very very distant cousin of my V5 Beetle.

  • Re: Replacement BS2 Battery = Massive Rip Off >:|

I didn't get to change the battery as I wouldn't part with £67 for a replacement Graham! :) The battery is indeed unusual, in that it has four lugs moulded to it as Jeff suggested. Not sure how anyone could replace it with a non-B&O substitute as it fits tightly into one side of the BS2 casing. I know my limits and doubt I'd ever
