Thanks for posting this press release. I read Motama's website and other news using Google. This is essentially how B&O is going to support iTunes, the Mac platform, remote video, iPhones, remote cameras and much more. This should answer the question of how B&O is going to go beyond the Beomedia 1 and other digital media. It will certainly

It is true. It is a challenge to be an owner of B&O products in the US. However it is not unlike other products at this level. If your repairs were done at a B&O authorized shop, I would complain directly to Bang & Olufsen North America. They would want to know if someone had a bad experience. When I purchased a Beocenter 2 a few years ago

Maybe neither format will win. HI-def video might ultimately be delivered to the consumer over the internet. At least one can hope for that to happen. Then I wouldn't have to buy a new DVD player.

I agree that it is about the big labels getting greedier and not necessarily the artist. On the surface, this looks like it is a US issue but remember most of the big labels are based in Europe. If these fees are successful in the US, surely the big labels will try the same thing in the EU and beyond. Thank-you for raising this issue joynsyde. This

Again this is another example of a government not understanding the internet. Most of the internet radio stations I listen to are outside of the US and are usually sponsored by another government such as BBC, RFI, or Radio Sweden. I believe that artists deserve an equitable payment. However any strident restrictions will only result in other types of

I have resisted posting anything on this subject but I will say a few things. My wife and I both have iPhones and really like them. The list above about what the phone doesn't do is not all that important to the average individual. The phone is exceptionally well made with high quality parts from many countries. The amplifier is from a British company

Album artwork is a terrific idea for Beomedia. I think there should also be a way to network Beomedia to play music from my iTunes library at least for the non DRM music. I would like the ability to add internet radio stations that are not on the official list. Beomedia does not handle multiple cd albums very well. That should be fixed. Finally there

I also have been a great fan of B&O for years and have 2 complete systems and other components. I also have 2 Beogram 7000's but I only use one at a time. The second one is a spare so that I will have a Beogram turntable for many years. I think that qualifies me as a fanatic. I have listened to the Beolab 9 and was very impressed. I thought

Closing update I saw this in the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper. " Bang & Olufsen will close its store at 15 E. Oak on June 27, and will operate out of its Arlington Heights corporate office during the summer. It will open a new store in the fall at the former Tree Studios at State and Ohio, a spokeswoman said. "

My wife is using all the features including the camera which I have yet to try. I would say the advertisement or the hype is 98% true. I thought the Ipod part of the iphone would not be as good as a regular Ipod but the iphone uses the same Wolfson stereo audio chip as in other ipods. FYI Wolfson is a British company. Actually the Edge network works
