I would under no way consider a beomedia unless it comes with a significant discount. This thing is basically end of life / production is stopped. I would buy Beomaster because I am hoping that down the line when they release the 2 way remote this will work without BS5. That would give me all I need and want.

I stay out for now as well. My ripped music collection is all done in 192kbs which is way not good enough for listening to my BL3/BL2 but was the way to go when ipods had limited capacity which they sort of have again with Iphone and Touch. I can not get myself to maintain my single library, i.e fishing for missing coverart or categorization and description

it is on macrumors as well. It would just extend the hard disk of apple tv. I can do that today with a normal NAS by installing a plug in. This is, apple TV has a user interface that is geared towards buying content from the itunes store rather then presenting my own. That makes it essentially a piece of crap for me, not that I am saying BS5 will be

>> "our customers don't care about performance - they are aesthetes"<< I think there is a line. Having visible pixelation on the screen or similiar that would show up and customers would complain. Same for missing connection options, i.e. why cant I just plug in my Apple TV into a BC6 or BV7 32, that should just work similiar

The increase in volume is required as DVDs are typically recorded with a much greater dynamic. Meaning, you should be able to understand the dialogue and when you have an explosion that should be significant louder. To achieve that range, they record overall a bit lower compared to a normal Pop CD. If you would not hear the center channel, your sound

I think the issue in some regions in Europe is more that income did not stand up to inflation. I moved to US 10 years ago and the almighty Avant was 10 cool K back then. The BV7 is in line with inflation, and technically can stand up on its own to most mass produced TVs. To be frank,I know I got OK picture quality on my BV8. In fact I am just watching

Jetz sin ma all over place, welche version vom BV5 hast Du?

Airport Express ueber aux and BC2 /BS4.

Everybody is all exited about BS5. Thing is, if I understand correct he Beomedia will run on its own through a TV screen just like Beomedia 1 does. So if it is true that there wil be a 2 way remote down the line, I am hoping iy will run without BS5. This would add another dimension to my setup, I don't really see the need for BS5. I do see a need

It is not an elegant solution. The user interface pushes the selling of Itunes content into the foreground, it is not designed around playing my own music or movies. Also, in regards to using the touch as a 2 way remote, the cover art is not loading fast enough over wifi. I think for the price it is OK, but far away from a product that I actually wold
