I have had a 6002 and it should work in much the same way as the 8000. Don't like the sound of the clicking; once it reaches the centre it should just bounce back and return to the rest position. It also has fast and slow buttons unlike the 8000 which uses the other buttons for speed control. The user and service manuals are on site if that is helpful

I doubt it will because you are actually using Audio Aux which is indeed a type of datalink but in a distinctly odd fashion. However I have not tried this - though if I get the chance I will as I have a 9500 lying around and a MCL2AV attached to a BC2 . I think there will be an operation conflict.

I would contact Tim Jarman at Beocentral who is a whizz at fixing most things.

Puncher: I take back anything I said to the nice Mr. Prizedrawbot that may have seemed, at the time, slightly offensive You're safe - his memory has been corrupted! Comes of spending too much time in Eastbourne!
-
I too have replied! And I am sure PrizeDrawBot will include you!

The manual is actually in French and Dutch as well.

Thanks to the generosity of Alex (Stereomann) we now have this manual in German French and Dutch on site here.
-
Many thanks for that. I have the BM4000 manual - just loading it up now!

You may regard it as a long term loan till you find a decent one of your own. I am using a projector clock at present instead of the 7000 - my wife prefers it as she can see it too! Projects onto the ceiling!
