There are two buttons for each direction. < & > for slow and << & >> for fast. I attach the page from the manual. The TX was a derivative of the 6002 , the TX2 referred to by Graham was a variant of the later and lighter weight 3000. In the 6002/TX, there is no speed control of the platter unlike the 8000/6006 and so the buttons

If you have an Intel Mac, you can run Beoplayer through Bootcamp though, can't you?

Must confess that when I changed from PC to Mac, moving across to iTunes from beoplayer was marvelous! Couldn't bear Beoplayer though I did like the B&O style design. BM-Link is superb - thanks Anders!

B&O are not owned by another company. There was a short time when Philips took a minority share holding but this has been bought back. I have to confess that I have always found the customer care department at Struer very helpful though clearly they do have limitations as they don't have access to the spare parts anymore.

The only way that can work is to run MCL to a MCL2AV then powerlink to the Beolink passive and then to the speakers. This has the advantage that the volume level in the link room is independent (to all intents) to that in the main room. The cheaper way to do it is to run MCL to a MCL2A and to passive speakers. In this case the volume in the main room
