It may be that the BM6500 is set to option 0. Have you a Beolink 1000 as well?
-
I have not scanned them yet! The newer ones take even longer and to be frank, have not changed that much! I suppose if honest they interest me personally less! However I will keep on - if anyone wants to help, I won't object! Files have to be less that 10Mb to load.
-
Not sure I would classify that as quite free! They are having a sales push at present!

Have a look at the sister site - www.Beotech.co.uk which has the wiring diagrams. If using Beolab active speakers, I would get the B&O Powerlink cables - they are actually 8 pin. The passive speaker connections are 2 pin DIN, available from Maplin. Not sure which manual is on the official site - the one on here is 44 pages. You need to be a silver

You do have a slight problem in that the AV7000 is a US only model so most people on the forum have no experience of them! (Myself included!) It is an interesting device though and was designed so that you can use third party AV equipment with B&O speakers as much as anything.

B&O do test cables and the ones supplied are in their opinion, and the opinion of the board of 'Golden Ears' that they use for listening tests morethan up to the job. However if you feel that special cables improve the sound for you, and that the expense is worth it, that is fine. I would suggest a blind A/B/X test though - try one, try

wirralsimon: I am still in shock! The last time I won a prize in a raffle was when I won a set of embroidered pillow cases at the village fete nearly 35 years ago (Not a lot of use to an 8 year old boy!). I managed to keep cool about the prize draw by forgetting it was about to happen! I got the email on my return from a business trip to Birmingham

Can't you just select AM and then put in the frequency you want? It is supposed to have LW according to the specs.
-
Why? Some people have asked for exactly this set. Certainly a different looking set, stands out from the me too black panels, and will work well in a Beolink system. Obviously one can get similar performance from a different brand for less but we have been here before!! If you have a Beolink system in the house then it is a reasonable choice.

Not sure. If you catch the screen in the right light, you can see it is in fact blue, though much darker than the usual colour. But in normal light it appears much as a Beovision 1 . The box had BLACK on it. It is a relatively late one but not one of the last. I have not seen a nother one and my old dealer had not either. I'll do some decent pictures
