I am continually tempted by Quad ESL63s! I just don't have the space to do them justice though! I note a review on the web that puts the DM70 above a stacked pair (4 speakers) of Quad 63s though. I liked the article basically saying that Hi-Fi had not really moved on and that it was all just hype by companies who obviously have to sell products

I think Graham (joeyboygolf) wa actually making and supplying these at one point. They seemed of excellent quality - Graham - are you still doing this?

In the early days of Beoworld, we were asked to design a Christmas card! This was a fairly poor effort of mine - they are in the shape of a Christmas tree! I think I had 16 Beograms at the time but didn't have a big enough floor area!!

The HDR1 and 2 work it fine. The DVD2 does not. It is one of the highlighted differences between the HDR2 and DVD2. It is all to do with the integration of the two products. I would consider the HDR2 certainly - I regard this as a B&O product. The DVD2 is a Philips product with a B&O box and basic interface. That is why it is comparatively cheap

I had my BS2 and Powermac G5 working together OK. A few foibles (not very good at differentiating albums!) but plays MP3s at high coding rates fine. I don't have it at present as it is on loan to someone with a similar problem! Is all your firmware up to date? I use iTunes with it obviously, not Beoplayer.

wtlc2zpx: DVD2 has Videoplus (but not G Plus as it is done by the PUC of the TV.) p. Quite right - my mistake. The problem with the PUC of the TV is that it would appear you cannot control a satellite or DVB-T using the timer. You can with the HDR2.

LW or MW? (In other words, can you get the cricket on it!! )

Sounds odd! I wonder if the memory store is not working - maybe the lithium battery is time expired! I confess to being pretty amateur at TV sets though.

Radio first, then MP3, then vinyl and lastly CD. Hardly ever use tape now despite the 5500 and 9000 being ready and willing!
