Anders Did you get any answer / solution to the issue of the missing Menu option. I also have a BV9 newly updated s/w 8.12a but no Beo4 option.
Simple Answer - BeoVision 9 is not (yet ?) on the list of "Compatible Products" Products / SW versions beeing "Beo 4 Navigation Ready" BeoVision 4
What's it like to use?
Nice, in "Mode 2", like a "Standard Beo4" even nicer in "Mode 1" (when the TV has the option "Navigation Button")
-
All recent BeoVision TVs offer in the setup menue an additional paragraph "Beo4 Setting" offering the choice: "Navigation button" or "No navigation button" regarding the type of Beo4 to be used. Older TVs will need a SW update to get "Type 1710" ready.
Does anyone know how easy it would be to shorten or lower the pole so the TV sits just suspended off the base, just as the gorgeous BeoVision 5 did.
... looks gorgeous but ... the limiting factor for lowering will be the required thread engagement to safely attach the pole to the base plate and the space needed
what's new in the 3.87 version?
New in 3.87 - Load previous local versions (going back to a working config) - Support for new Beo4 (type 1710) w. cursor control - Drag and drop of template logos - more than 200 PUC-Sources updated with cursor control - PUC-Sources are sorted by type and manufacturer - Correct
... the 1611 and then a five pin cable from the 1611 to the Audio Aux port on the 9300.
NO! You'll need a 7pin "DataLink" cable from 1611 to Audio Aux/TV on the 9300 - a standard 5 pin DIN can't transmit the data required for system intergration!
Probably better
Hi, Anyone know where I can purchase online some 4 pin speakerlink plugs?
Visit/contact your B&O dealer - the part# is 7220401
I don't know which option is on right now, but it says on display TV control ...
very likely "A.Opt 0" I assume there are no speakers connected to BS 9000. Everytime you plug in/switch on a BS 9000 there runs an autocheck if speakers are connected if yes - BS 9000 sets itself to "A.Opt
