Here's my effort Mika, not quite as posh as yours and didn't last long but did the job quite well! These days I normally use my built in camera flash on minimum, to trigger my Sigma ef500 which is bounced off the ceiling or a difuser.

The voltage in the UK has NEVER been at 220V or 230V or whatever and never will be. It is still 240V! And yes, you want change that voltage selector although I cannot help you with the speed problem with this model sorry.

Sorry to hear that. I think you need to look at the ebay forums and see where you stand, although I suspect it is their word against yours at the end of the day. I think to win you would have to somehow prove he was responsible for damaging the phone and not your packaging or the courier.

Hi Nigel I just removed the loose foam with my finger and applied some of that gel like super glue straight to the remnants of the old sticky tape - I started by gluing both end pieces on firmly, then when happy that the ends were secure, using store cards as spacers I glued the middle pieces in. You must get all the pieces in the correct orientation

have you tried speakerphone with the batteries while it was connected to the line?

There was something similar on ebay uk recently HERE - At least any winning bidder careful enough to read the full text knew what they were getting, although it was still a little missleading, and went for much more than it was worth in my opinion!
