Iphone or Serenata? I would choose ...none of them! All my music is compressed in WMA, and I won't convert everything to AAC or MP3 for the Iphone, whose sound is said to be pretty average compared to B&O's. Besides, I don't like Itunes either. But I won't buy Serenata, because I can't imagine wirting an SMS with that wheel.

I was going to say "ugh", but having looked at the picture, it doesn't look bad at all I think. I'm not really fond of gold, more into the silver/alu/steel tones , but the golden BeoCom 4 does look nice. However, as for Serenata : do we have to hire a bodyguard whenever we give a call??

Looking at this thread, I realize how much the world, B&O, and myself have changed.. When I discovered B&O almost 20 years ago, they had 2 types of TVs: the MX and the LX range, both in 2 different sizes..that made 4 TV sets, and I wanted one of each!! Now, 20 years later, I realize the B&O TV range has never been so wide, and yet, as others

Actually you can transform any BeoLab 3500 as a true BeoLab speaker, all you need is a powerlink converter from this French company: www.madsystemes.com It will cost you EUR 200, and you simply connect a first Powerlink from BeoPort to that converter, then a second Powerlink from the box to the Lab 3500..

Talking about whiteline, did you notice that the latest catalogue showed a white BeoCom 2? I find the white BV8 quite nice, but it's a shame that now I only focus on the black sensor on the top right corner...at least in black you didn't see it! However it makes me sad too to see B&O becoming something like the "Apple/Mac follower"

Hi David, I have a BV3-32 too and recently bought a KISS DP1600 to replace my dead -& cheap- DVD-VCR combo. I have no regrets, because the design is quite close to B&O's in terms of shape & colours, and I wanted it to control my hard-drive to playback photos, movies & music. The Kiss player has one USB input for that, as well as

My main question would be: is the sound better than BeoSound 2? I have a BS2 and would buy a BS6 only if the sound performance was better or at least as good. Moreover, what about downloading speed? The Samsung player had a reputation of being very slow, USB 1.1 and not 2.0, is it taking 30 seconds or 2 minutes to store a full album on it? Looking at

The features I'd love to have on BeoPlayer based software would be: - in NMUSIC, the CD covers seem to be updated whenever you open NMUSIC, which takes times & slows down the process: why not only updating the newly added albums?Besides, most of them already have a cover in Windows Media Player, but I feel B&O uses different covers: why

To be quite frank, if you have an Avant 28 and want something better, I would go for an Avant 32 RF or a BV3 -32! I bought a BV3-32 when BV7-32 was released, wondering "am I stupid"? Then I had to wait for one month, wondering everyday : "how could I be so stupid"? everyone's buying LCD and I bought a CRT!! Then the TV came,

Just a small tip to those having a large music library, remember that now all titles have a CD cover, therefore the "thumnails cache settings" under the NMUSIC menu in your setup has to be matching the number of tracks you have in your "My Music" folder, otherwise BeoPlayer/BeoPort will bug because it lacks space to update the artwork
