hello all since the bv7 had problems with 4.24 i had it updated to 5.02. now when i first turn on the tv the sky box does not respond properly for the first time i use it. if i press go once i get the banner so entering menus does nto happen after a few mins the numbers can be used and all returns to normal also if i have the stb setting to always on

i have noticed that if i have the power option set to always on it turns the tv sky off when i turn the tv on and does nothing when i turn it off. so now i have set it to manual and it leaves it alone, not had any problems so far with it turning the sky box off well not unless i turn the tv on lol

i have a solution from ilight i have a source controller that the lights and lamps are connected to and the light switch has been replaced by a switch from the that is connected via cat5e to control scences.

i had this a few times and it was as simple as the scart lead had come a little pulled out. Hope its as simple as that

Hi All I know 5.02 has the link room problem but has anyone noticed that controlling the sky box is slower than before, sometime i press the numbers for a channel and wait 4-5 seconds before it starts and other times its fine???? any one else get this....

the way you assignthe set to box to turn on and off is different. if i set my STB to be always on when i turn the tv off it stays on and when i turn the tv on it turns it off so i have set it to manual and it leaves it alone. also there is AST but this is grayed out

well my BV7 is now updated to 5.05 and i must admit the update went well and im hoping never to have crash to off problem again, i must also admit the new menu looks so much nicer and sleek and you dont loose the tv image when using the menu;s fingers crossed

hello buddy glad you got it sorted! post a pick of the new HD BOX please can the connections it has at the back. Also why not try and google the new box name for info on the IR sensor

as far as i am aware the remotecodes are the same no matter who makes the box as the remote is the same try pace Sky + if its not there you may need a softwear update
