  • Re: PS3 Settings Please

Normally the only things you have to set are : -Audio output =HDMI (not optical/not analogue) -Audio output format=Linear PCM (not Bitstream) I'm not in front of my screen so I can't post you the exact menu term, but you should find them without difficulties when browsing the settings menu.

  • Re: Dual View / Split View ?

In a home setup, the issue is that you could not be in front of the TV : if you sit in front of such a screen you get a mixed image of the two sources... Not very interesting. If you display the same source on both directions, you get a viewable front image, that corrects the issue a little bit. But the other issue is that by using this system, the

  • Re: BV-10 vs BV-8

Yes, as same chassis means same electronic, same upscaler... So we can not say that the picture of the BV10 will differ a lot from the BV8 concerning elements that are due to the processor. But the LCD screen may be different, the backlight also, and there will be a contrast screen, so theses elements will maybe add a better black level, and the maximum

  • Re: Beovision 8-40 and Blue-ray player

Mine was also silent when put in a cabinet (I just tried that once in order to verify that I can change my TV furniture for a closed one, and everything was ok, when opened again, nothing was hot and the fans were turning at low speed). For some games, my PS3 can be hot and make some noise, but I've never had problems with movies, that's why

What version do you have? Mine is nearly silent, the fan are running, but at low speed (it's a recent 80gb version)

  • Re: Beovision 8-40 and Blue-ray player

For upscaling of DVDs, I've never found better value for money than the PS3. If you plug a Nyko blu wave infrared key to it, you (normally) will be able to pilot it via the BV8 and Beo4, but you will still hae to switch the PS3 on/off manually or with a game controller.

  • Re: beovision 10

A voir!
