Is it possible that the BL7000 interferes with the BL5000? Does it make any difference if you cover the BL7000?

Has it ever worked before?? I ask this question because a BV5 from 2002 is probably a mkI, which is (almost) the same as the Avant mkIII. These soundmodules where slightly different from the later ones. Another thing is, the sub is a dedicated output from the AC3 decoder/ic and not rerouted through the AV-board (14), like the left and rightchannel are

Just a thought. I think that perhaps you've connected the sub to the "centre" powerlink instead of the Sub. Both powerlinkconnectors are located in the middle section. Normally the centre powerlink at a BV5 isn't used but mayby the plastic cap has been removed? I've installed a BV9 ALT speaker into my BV5 and uses the centre powerlinksocket

I like the BV9 because of the design, the better speaker and the BS3 you keep talking so warmly about, but I'm concerned if the screen will disappoint me.
I would (imho) definitely go for yhe BV9, for at least all the reasons you mention. With all respect to (owners of) the BV10, a BV 9 screen will not disappoint

No, I have just an ordinairy 5.1 setup Is the projector in the same room as the tv-panel? The BS3 has the speakerrole option. Then you can give your speakers a different function in different setup's (roles). Your rear speaker can be assigned as front and left as right etcetera. As good as I can reveal from the manual, the BS3 has 8 powerlink connections

If you have the original ir-eye, which comes with the BS2, then you should have active controlling contrast and brilliance. But probably only when the panel has been recognized as a real B&O panel. The MKII and mkIII differs from the mkI. The mkI doesn't have this feature. I've placed on youtube a small video which shows my BV5 with the

Hi Lotus1, I've noticed that you took some time to consider about the best solution for your situation. That's good. For me, I also want to connect several sources to the BV5. And by fitting a DVI module (with HDCP) and a component module into the screen itself, I can control these inputs just as easily as the other (scart)sources with the Beo4
