There is a small grain of truth in there, in that B&O's former designer may see it as a way to sell greater quantities. But the salesman was exaggerating wildly. I do love the John Jensen B&O designs though. They are still my favourites. Simon

I connect my CD player to my Beocenter 7000 using a DIN to RCA converter lead that I got from eBay. I *think* the Beocenter 7007 has a bigger range of connection options than the 7000. hopefully someone will be along in a bit who can confirm this. The Becnter 7000 series have superb amplifiers in them, so it is well worth doing. Simon

Congratulations Chris! I was watching that too. I bottled out due to imaging the look on my wifes face when I crossed the threshold with a Beocenter that I don't need as I aready have a 7000 and four sets of speakers! Simon
