I thought my old Avant and Pentas looked good together until I saw your BV10 and BL5000s....! Wow - amazing set up and makes me very jealous :)

Merry Christmas to you Cleve! A great story and glad to hear that someone else can get into collecting B&O as quickly as I did :) Your 2400 now has new dial lamps, courtesy of the kit you sent me, and a new hinge is on its way from Martin in Denmark. Once that's fitted I'll send you some pictures!

It's the classic collector's dilemma: WAF (wife approval factor)! I'd keep the lot if I could, but if you have to part with the 5000 then drop me a message :) Interested to hear what the sound is like. I'd use a CDX too with the 5000 and Pentas. What's the sound like?

I'd be interested to hear thoughts on this too. The Beolab 5000 is the last thing I need to tick off my wanted list now, after five years of patient collecting. I use a BM8000 with my BV Pentas, but should I ever get that elusive 5000 system I would probably swap the 8000 out for the 5000 and use it with the Pentas for a while :)

If I was buying a BV10 I would definitely get some Beolab 5000s to go with it. Has anyone done this? I'd love to see the results!

Michael Caine didn't regularly make a fool of himself at award presentations though, unlike Kanye West! Caine is cooler than Bond in the Ipcress File, but I'm not sure West is in the same league. The only people who want to be like him are those people who posted those unintelligable remarks in the comments section on his site. Fair play if
