I saw a B & O document that stated, they would wait about 5 years or so, as 3D is still 1st generation as as such is not proven or stable enough yet.
A little like the Blu-ray situation. I read over the weekend that hologram TV will quickly replace 3D and that 3D in the home is just a shot-term gimmick.
I can't understand why B&O is so often behind the time at the moment...
I've only been buying B&O kit for the last 9-10 years, but they've always been this way, and that's a long time in electronics. In fact, wasn't the ex-CEO quoted saying that B&O's philsophy was to used
...there isn't a big advantage with BV7-40 apart from a superior sound.
That's a pretty big advantage. 50% of the TV experience! What other advantages do you require? :)

I'd like to see some feedback from owners of the BV10 + BL9s. I want to know how this compares to my BV7-40+BL7.4+BL9s setup? One of the primary reasons for buying B&O kit is the audio experience and the 7.4+BL9 gives an excellent audio experience.
I can confirm this NEW bug, I didn´t recognize it yet because I use my BS9000 for listening radio. Please inform B&O-support to solve the problem. I think we are all beta-testers for B&O, they should spend us money for our work!
But it wouldn't be so bad if we could do the updates ourselves

Here in Bath (UK) there's quite a lot of B&O kit in various houses. My landlords a have quite a bit of B&O kit, although with recent sw issues that they've experienced, they've vowed not to buy any new kit :( Problem is, everyone I know down here who owns B&O is technically naive, 45+ and has more money than sense. ie. they are
Ease of use and integration without having to be a "rocket scientists"...
Sure, when it works! Blu-ray playback stutters and judders across the old masterlink, HD picture quality deteriorates over the analogue signal, you can't send a HD audio signal across masterlink, plus there's an audio delay
-
Will the panning be vastly improved going from the 60Hz MKIII to the 200Hz MKV.
There's a noticeable difference between my old MKIII and the latest MKIV. Probably not worth the expensive upgrade, but there's an improvement.
-
Technically better. I've seen the BV10-46 next to a BV7-40 MKIV and the picture was sharper and more clean. The BV9 has a better picture, too.
-
Now with 200Hz screen - though still cold cathode Fluorescent tube, not LED. Quite a variety of screens now available!!
So....the BV10-40/46 has a "better" screen than the more expensive BV7-40 MKV? How bizarre.
