I'll try them tonight - working this pm!

It depends - do you have the filters set to off! Surely one listens to music as one wants - I prefer level playback and lots of dynamics. If you like lots of bass and treble, that is your choice. I like midrange - that is why I have the speakers that I do. Plenty of midrange, no top or bottom!

Probably put the last bit badly - more meant as everyone is entitled to their opinion - clearly some opinions are simply wrong - earth flat etc - but people are entitled to express them.

Goodness! Just revisited this thread! No idea why things are so heated! No-one has to use an MP3 player if they don't want - the original question was addressing the point of them. I think there are very valid reasons why digital players and files are now around in huge numbers though as stated before, it is clearly up to the individual whether

Great functionality! -Søren [/quote] I like all of these but the Beomaster 8000 was not a long lived product and lacked the design purity of the BG4000. Materials used proved

Agree - Beogram 4000. Good deck even without the design - but the design is simply beautiful. Works with B&O and with other equipment. Incredibly well made.

If the belt is not on, it will not turn the auto mechanism - only the turntable motor will spin and this won't turn the platter as the belt is not there! Take the platter off and see what happens to the motor.

Does the lift button do anything? It should make the motor spin. Without the belt on, not much else will go on!
