2. Agree with Graham. In common with the other big Beovox speakers, you need power to drive these multi driver units. One way would be to find some Beolab 200s. Have heard them drive a number of B&O speakers and they make a fantastic difference.

Alex: And of course 'distortion free' at full volume because of the use of ICE Power! All you get is dynamic compression, rather than the normal fuzzy distortion which sounds terrible on other portable systems. I take it that that is ice in the alcohol that is making you forget that the BS3 has an class AB amplifier ! And stop imagining that

Moderately amusing! Just come from another forum where quite frankly there are some pretty horrible people! Not like Beoworld at all! Someone posted this link which describes a number of the protagonists very well!!

It lets you control your computer from your B&O system. With a PC, it uses the Beoplayer software. With a Mac, it uses iTunes. Very good value and does essentially what the BS3200 does but a million times better and you don't have to manually name the tracks.

I also have some S120s as well and they too had foam rot. This was before I had heard of Recone so I just replaced the units with new Peerless ones. We should have a shoot out and see which is better! Mine has the odd fitting at the top as well!

Bottom of the range cartridge I believe but does have an elliptical stylus. Perfectly acceptable but will be getting old.

soundproof: So not 110W? What happened? They just changed the way they measured the amp's? Not the amp's themselves? I went by the ratings on the product sheets here on the site -- "buyer beware!" Actually, if you look at the specs on site, both are rated as 110W IEC Long Term Max Power output. You will also note that the maximum power

No. The CD drive is not designed for this, unlike the one in the 4500. About 30 degrees from vertical is about as far as I would go. What I would do is mount it normally and get a Beolink 7000 to put next to the bed as this will have all the information you want displayed with the advantage of masively increasing the programming potential of the 9500

I wouldn't get 6000s if you are listening mainly to music. Consider BL3s instead. I would also not bother with the 3200 as the HDD built in does not record at a high enough quality and is quite frankly a pain to use. The BS4 or possibly the audio BC2 would seem better syuited as they have a digital radio built in. The first thing I would do however
