Very nice thank you! Just catching up with post!

Will work fine. If you want two decks, you will need a 6500 or 7000 attached to the CD port.

Agree with above. A large flat blade does it nicely! I am only holding onto these for you Martin! Not perfect but they do have the trumpet stands! Have to confess to not having played them yet! Just cleaned them up a bit!

Frisco100: Lee, I own a beogram 1800 and for some reason the arm will lift and move to the proper position for and LP, the arm will set down and then lift off the LP and drag across the surface of the turntable making a terrible racket. Why is it doing this, and how can I correct it? Thank you ! Rick It needs cleaning. There is a small cylinder which

joff135: I must say that although i like our Beocom 6000s...i didn't realise when i bought them that they didn't have a speaker phone facility...which is very handy when you get left on 'hold' for ages...or of course when the wife is doing the ironing! Also increase the tracking weight

Sounds like a fault with the actual laser ? needs adjustment. From your description the error circuitry is tripping in too much - or at least that would be a medical diagnosis! I think it needs a trip to the service department - may need a simple adjustment but will need have measurements using diagnostic equipment.

I would guess you simply need a new cartridge then. If you didn't live outside the EU, I'd lend you a good CL to try but they seem to attract import tax every time I have sent them elsewhere!! On the capacitor front, I applaud your thoroughness but this particular capacitor is an odd one and I worry that it may well need to be a relatively special

Purely as a matter of interest, why are you replacing the capacitor across the motor terminals? This is a very unstressed component but is pretty critical to the smooth running of the motor. I would suggest keeping the old component just in case replacing it with something different has some undesirable side effects. Just back from holiday so was not

I have put the manual on which has the assembly, and disassembly, instructions!
