You need the log in for the guide with the logos but I think you can use the one without the logos freestanding. All slight speculation as the Beo5 is not around yet!!

We have decided to have a photo quiz as this will not favour any one country!! It will be close ups of B&O products which you have to identify! I'll put it on this week end!

I think it is so you can fit an external IR transceiver so that if the 6500 is in a cupboard, you can still control it.

Well it does sound like a component failure but it could be a number of different issues. I would hope that it is not the transistors but possibly the capacitors or variable resistors that are in need of replacement. However to discover which, you will need to have some testing equipment and the service manual and know what you are doing. It would be

Tricky! Lovely music centre though! The service manual is on the site for silver and gold members so maybe a local non B&O repairer will take it on?

I think I know what you mean - they go under the spring where it rests against the plastic lid. I'll try and find a picture tonight!

What an appalling litany. I would suggest sending a copy of this to customer care at Struer and see if you get a response. The only fault I have had recently of any note was my Serene which I gave back when it failed twice. I do get the odd ML glitch when using it with my computer but I usually reckon this is software generated and probably the computer
