• Re: Well well well!

I think it is tough really. I know it isn't fair and people like that should start the bidding at what they are prepared to let the thing go for. Try posting on the ebay forums to see if you can put in a complaint of some sort, like non performing seller I don't know....

The precursor to datalink.
Red = Right positive, connect to the tip (inner center) of the RCA.[/quote

  • Re: faulty beocom 2400??

I am afraid this phone comes from a line of components that B&O would only encourage or support changing of whole PCB's. As an example, if the buttons fail as a result of a faulty membrane it would seem you have to replace the whole enclosure! The Display and inner board base and handset would be spared. I found a way of removing the keypad

The 4004 was primarily designed to communicate with the 2400-2 so the cartridge grounds are tied together I think on the mute board (where you removed that plug) and the extra wires are for auxilary control. You will need to either bypass the mute circuit altogether (assuming the LR- are not tied together further upstram but they shouldn't be!)

  • Re: The case for having a spare router modem

I have to say the only router that ever failed on me was a WAG200g - and this I am 99% certain BT somehow blocked as for a start a bloke had been working on the telephone line a day before and also I had to get a BT approved router to guarantee it would work! I agree above the Power supply would be the first thing I would substitue!

I thought the real answer was you can't, because the future hasn't happened yet
How do you see yourself listening to music in the future? in front of a mirror
But seriously second hand, for the short term!!!

I think without is the perfect excuse for a claim to become invalid. Remember a lot of the guys working for these companies also recieve parcels so I am sure there is more respect than people give them credit for!
I understand completely about the positioning of the plastic spacers. Do you glue these onto the beocenter itself? - I can't see any evidence (no glue or tape residue) of how they were fixed into place before.
Nothing should be stuck to the beocentre. The frames should be stuck to the glass panel, with the

Well I would have suggested the glass reed switch on the main board but they are pretty tough and non of your symptoms confirm this. I can't see how the telephone system differs in singapore tbh but I am no telecommunications expert. put it on ebay as spares / repairs or send to B&O..?
