I think to focus a bit more on "upgradeability" may not be a bad investment for them. But would take long time to establish this, to get to the point where you can really believe the sales person that the "TV" would be upgradeable to stay future proof. Also, they would have to probably limit that to their own range to set the benchmark

http://money.cnn.com/2009/01/06/technology/macworld/index.htm?postversion=2009010614 Is not 100% not correct though, they have 8 out of 10 million DRM free. The rest they hope end of this quarter.

I dont think it has to do with the country, it's just that super high speed is not consistently available. But then again, I am 10 feet away from my 32" and whatever streams down from Hulu is acceptable. Sound could be better, but also OK. I am just waiting for the call from verizon complaining that I use too much bandwidth.

I am actually a big fan of the STB PUC concept. I retain the single remote, I can hide the boxes. Giving that they are having a hard time to keep the TVs current I'd say keep pouring your resources into other areas. They can't do it all. I think if they start telling you what would come, it would upset people if it is delayed or does not materialize

I think it has to do with how far you are from the phone hub. I am using DSL Verizon. I signed up for 3 Mbits, but effectively I get 1.5 which is in line with their service agreement (I checked). I might be able to get better speed from a cable company but since I am not using cable TV I didn't pursue that option ....... I think in general though

>> maybe apple will go the whole hog and bring out a REAL apple TV ?<< I think the pressure for them is on. I hacked mine and I have Hulu.com TV episodes and Movies, CNN News, WB and Comedy Central. Netflix is coming soon, works already somewhat on the MAC version of the software. Hacking it added finally value for that box, besides the

>> What about it? If it has a full HD panel, then B&O have made a bad decision. A 32" LCD screen doesn't need full HD. << They have a 720P screen in the BV8, which I am enjoying a lot. I can even stream Internet TV and its somewhat watchable. DVD is stunning. I would think there is a chance that the BV7 32 gets a 720P screen

It installed fine on the ATV. It just added a new menu entry on the ATV. 10% of my movies were probably not recognized or recognized incorrectly. This was sometimes because of mistyped filenames or simple movie name duplication. However this can be corrected easily without keying in or renaming which is tricky on the ATV as there is no Keyboard. It

What I think I is interesting with this, it can be installed on an ATV as well. I am taking the day today to try to get boxee on my ATV working, which essentially does the same and more, but if that doesnt work I certainly take a look at this. With Boxee, which works on Mac, Windows and Linux it is possible to watch full movies and TV shows from Hulu

Most if not all B&O TVs have a set top box controller integrated. You wire a cable with a tiny stick on IR transmitter to whatever box you want to control. I control my Apple TV like that, works with other devices too. I searched a bit, I am pretty sure that there is something that will get you going besides lintronik and irtrans http://www.lintronic
