I think plasma suffers from buying habits due to the order technology has evolved. First CRT, then plasma & now LCD gives the perception that LCD is the latest technology and the one to buy. This is incorrect and to many including myself, plasma gives a better viewing experience.

Well they arrived. I know it's a long time since but I queried them to Lee and he informed me they had been sent ages ago. They must be in some Royal Mail post room now covered in tea stains. The next day a parcel arrived...

I'm reluctant to part with any of my hard earned cash to anyone who hasn't been recommended to me - be it Beoworld or word of mouth. However, there aren't enough B & O enthusiasts to generate any day to day recommendations so Beoworld is invaluable to ensure I have the buying experience I desire.

Hi Iain, Belated welcome to Beoworld. Don't know how I missed this post but your later post assisted! Great story of a slippery slope that we've all gone down. I'd advise the dreaded eBay route to gain as much as possible for your system. Sell the MMC1 and Pentas separately to the 5500 system. I'm not sure if you gain much by splitting
