Regarding the antenna problems of holding it in your hand that some are complaining about, would you carry a $700.00 replacement cost phone in your hand or pocket without some kind of cover?
Absolutely! Why pay $700 for something that is notionally good looking and then cover it with a brightly coloured rubber
-
Steve Job's advice on the "really coolly engineered" antenna problems - "don't hold it that way"! Either that or buy a £25 elastic band to wrap around it! Absolutely incredible/laughable. Only Apple could release something like this and seemingly get away with it - any other company would be (rightly) pilloried.
Never mind, Puncher. He cant even get his own name right: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/34191/281924.aspx#281924 Martin
- blinded by the shirt, no doubt! Cheers Martin!
The MC120.2's are actually surprisingly compact Pucher. To give you an idea, they share the same grill covers as the S55's. Mine are in white which makes them even less conspicuous. Just a shame I cannot mount them on floor stands while the grandkids are at that "I wonder what happens if I pull off this
I agree - wall mounted is the best option. I've owned RL35's, RL45.2's, RL60.2's & RL140's. Of all of them the 140's were easily the best sounding but they had to go before SWMBO packed her bags & left, simply too imposing for most homes. A very very well balanced speaker but not as
How should I rate the sound quality of the Red line series? I never listened to one, but came across some RL 7000's so I wondered how I should place these speakers in the perspective of B&o speakerdesign. How do they compare to the late 70's uniphase range (of which I know they sound very well balanced). [/quote
-
It depends on who you ask - JBG will tell you the lab5000's are clearly superior to the pentas! You pays your money and makes your choice!

I find it somehow unsettlingly.................sad! Maybe sad is the wrong word, but definitely unsettling!
Phoned a B&O dealer and he has quoted £690.00 plus installation for the DVT-T module ,is it really worth it I wonder! Eck
If you are going to pay that much I would enquire about the availibility of FreeviewHD compatible version. FreeviewHD PVR's seem to be ~£150. btw - I said earlier that CH4HD

I stand by what I said about mains conditioners - good for preventing damage to equipment (have you ever had any equipment damaged by mains spikes etc)? Bear in mind, the first thing that happens when the mains enters your equipment is that it is filtered, transformed down to a lower voltage, rectified to dc and heavily smoothered, filtered again and
