I am truly saddened to report the Beomaster 4000 was taken out of service today after less than two weeks on the job. Don't know when it happened, but after some switching of this, and rearranging of that, I have isolated a problem to the BM 4000: the output of the right channel is substantially lower than the left channel, and the frequency response

And the left channel. I waxed the stands, also, but not the rack as yet.

After waxing different angle, now inside. The photographs don't show very well how the waxing made the darker one a little lighter, and the lighter one a little darker. The waxing definitely made the pair a closer match. So, mission accomplished.
