Hello, and welcome! I had this problem exactly on my Beogram 8000! For me it was a bad solder at one of the connectors (but which one I don't remember!). One drop of solder was all it needed, and that was one year ago! Use a magnifying glass or re-do all solders if it comes to that... Have you changed any caps by the way? Along with solders this

For me it's a Beogram 4000 at last. Before that a 4002. My Beovox MC 120-2. And before that a Nakamichi-killing Beocord 9000!! Now, how will my Beogram 4000 fit into my Beosystem 6000? Will it replace my 8000? Stay tuned!

Yes, following Martin's idea of the Logo pulley I too had the idea of Meccano. I am not taking the pulley off my 4002, no way! Anyway, the shaft is of smaller diametre in the 4002 and of course I won't re-drill it! Martin tells me the outer diametre of the pulley isn't that critical provided the belt fits. Okay. I'll try that out and
