I agree with you in the main. A couple of points: The DVD2 I cannot defend - it is a rebadged Philips designed to provide a product that B&O don't offer. I have no idea why they chose one without a digital tuner as it has no easy facility to use an external tuner. The Digital tuner in TV I can defend a bit better. As long as my TV can fully

The BL3s will not be any better by themselves. If I were you, I would add a sub-woofer - the BL2 being the easiest choice. I would have a listen first though as some people do not like the sound effect this sub-woofer has. Personally I love it and it will cure the problem you have as it can move very large quantities of air and give a very good sound

Just to make things plain, the Beogram CD5500 is probably the best CD player made by B&O. Brushless motor and the best DAC available at the time. It is also all B&O except the actual laser assembly. I have one and it is superb!

Might not be the actual tube but possibly a power supply problem to the tube. I would suggest it needs a dealer to look at it! TVs are very dangerous to open up unless you know what you are doing!

Is the Sky box earthed? We have an earth put into the aerial loop simply to avoid interference. Worth a try.

It will be aimed at new equipment - impossible to implement on old equipment. Plasma and LCD sets are pretty inefficient!
