Do you play two sources on a Beosound 4? Or do you mean a Beocenter 2?
-
Pretty sure the answer is no. With the BC2, you can play a video source in one room and an audio in the other but not two audio. The BS4 has no video source and hence I think you can only play one thing at a time.

From another thread in the same vein: Sorry to be a killjoy but I have to do this. 'Beoworld will not be party to the dissemination of software that is designed only for use by dealers. We feel that B&O have limited its use for reasons that are clear and to prevent damage to customers' equipment. Until such a time that the software is authorised

I suppose the reason that we are willing to put up with the fact it won't directly control other makes is that this is simply not important to some of us. The only non B&O items I have are controlled by PUCs and hence integrate into the whole system. I wish to be able to access my sources throughout the house, and this is what the Beo5 is spectacularly

Not really as I need a new battery myself!! I'll try to find out though. As far as I am aware, one can actually make up a battery pack oneself but I will report back!

There should be just 4 wires - right, left, ground and datalink. So confess to being stumped! You need some friendly chap to have a look in their 4500 by pulling the plastic cover of the plug back. I am afraid mine is in Bellac so not much use!

I take it that you are connecting the 2300 to the BV6 and using the MX in a link room. The problem is that you need the 2300 to speak to the ML system and so I think you need a 1611 to allow this to happen. So I think it needs to stay!

I agree - always wait to see what it is like in real life before passing judgment! I actually like the wheel - I don't want an iPhone clone - I want a B&O.
