Now have mine!! Can confirm the following! : 1. 3rd party IR codes are not available - yet! There is a tab to add them in the dealer software but it is not active! 2. The idea is that the stylus moves the arm slightly and this makes the optical sensor move the arm sideways. It would appear that the arm is resisting being moved!! Maybe some lubrication? There are two lubrication points noted in the service manual. Sewing machine oil!

Sorry - it times out! Look on the home page under batteries - it has tagged NiMH batteries.

I was advised by an authorised B&O repairer that NiMH was the way to go... He is looking further into this for me.
