Your dealer will set them up any way you wish. Very pleased with mine though one does use it in a different way than a normal remote. I think you almost need to use it in standard mode first and work out what you want on each screen first and then have it configured.

Better still - sponsor them! If you do it on line, they can claim back tax.

Been looking all over for one of these and drawn only blanks. Annoying as I had one as I bought an MX2000 new many years ago!! Not seen a service manual but it is a standard Thompson chassis .

That is interesting. He will be replacing the suspension then. However at the end of the day, you will have a MMC4 , not a 2. The point of the 2 was that it had a single crystal sapphire tubular cantilever and a contact line stylus. The actual body of the cartridge is identical for the MMC1,2,3,4 and 5 with the only difference being the cantilever and

Not sure it is what I would choose for the following reasons: 1. It is big (and very heavy!!!) but is still just a 4:3 28" set. 2. It has a VCR rather than DVD. 3. It will not act a a slave, only a master so connecting to your main system by ML is not really a sensible option. 4. The STB-C is a little flaky to say the least as it works via V.Aux

The BL7000 essentially sets itself up. If you change your system, go into the Panel/Setup/Systems/Components section as detailed above and remove all the components. Save this and then going into exactly the same place, add those components you have. The Beolink 7000 sends out a test signal and if it gets a response, the component is stored as 2 way

You need to contact Martin (Dillen on site). He does component packs for this model. Although it is clearly impossible to diagnose down line, these models have a lot of red capacitors in them which degrade over the years. Those and variable resistors are the most likely components to fail. The service manual is on site for silver and gold members.

Pretty sure they are hard keys so not possible - you need to use the List. I use the AVX2 so I can have many things attached to the AV9000. I have the V,Tape attached to AV1 and a Sky box worked by a STB-C, a DVD-R/Freeview device worked by the DVD controller and a Nintendo Wii attached to AV2. And they all work!! The picture on the AV9000 is one of
