There was a round silver IR eye made for MCL for a very short time - hen's teeth! I don't know if the two are the same eye but would not be surprised. The only thing that might be different is the timer and mute circuitary - I'll see if I can find out for you - but no promises of success!

You won't be able to control the other sources from Beoplayer except on the computer. This is so you can use one source on the computer whilst someone else could be watching TV etc otherwise you would break into their program. If you were using the same source, you will have some control though. (I have read this and it comes across incorrectly

Agree - I love mine and equally regard it as one of the best items of B&O that I have bought. Stunning with DVDs but definitely adds to music in my opinion.

What connections have you from the computer to the Beoport? You should have a USB and a jack plug from the audio output on the computer to the Beoport. Check it is in the correct output on the computer.I take it that the software loaded properly ( I imagine it did as the sources are listed on Beoplayer).

Is the Beoport in the same room? By having it connected to the ML system in option 6, I had imagined that you had it in a separate room and that you wanted to access the sources from that room.
