Just noticed that the OP last visited the forum in March 2009, shortly after his last post in this thread. I guess that he had a satisfactory outcome to his problem........ but wouldn't it be nice if posters with resolved issues could let us all know the final outcome? I, for one, would like to know whether B&O eventually sorted out this apparent

I note that Lee promotes the sale of BV7-40 screens on the basis that they could be used with various pairs of speakers without the use of a centre speaker. Could you add anything to this, Lee? If BL8000's or similar are positioned just to each side of a screen, is the performance materially different with or without a centre speaker? Graham

Great pictures Eugene! I have a caps kit from Martin for the S45s (with repair delayed by house move.) I'll be sure to check your pictures again when I get around to sorting out my speakers. Graham EDIT My S45s are the other type! ......... probably more like the S50s!

When I bought my BM1200 and BG1203 in the early 70's a number of work colleagues and personal friends immediately claimed that it was all over-priced and that their new Japanese systems were better specced etc. In those days there was a tendency to go by nothing more than the manufacturers claimed amp distortion figures (and ignore the potentially

I am considering replacing a 32 Avant, currently in a corner position in the bedroom, with a wall mounted TV. The BV10-40 with possibly a BL11 is an obvious contender, but a used Beovision 4-42 might make a good alternative. (I have a behind-wall space for the Beosystem 2.) I am not too worried about HD broadcasts as I've found that the BV5 gives

Congrats again to Mika & Jaff and everyone else with an award. As Jaff suggests, Stonk is a great story teller. From buttered horses to pilots who don't know how to land......... how on earth has he survived this long? Graham

The stands previously sold on eBay had a very heavy circular stainless steel base, and the general form was similar to the design spotted above by Sigmund.
These were home made affairs with a Beo 4 wall bracket stuck to a circular base - I always thought they were a bit amateurish
Thanks Graham, I knew I had seen them on a Danish site, but couldn't remember which. Are you thinking about this ?
No, but that looks like another stylish holder! The stands previously sold on eBay had a very heavy circular stainless steel base, and the general form was similar to the design spotted above
