Seems likely that the quoted US price is for the Panel alone, and the EU price includes the BeoSystem 3, which you must have in any event. Russ

Peter: The problem here will be connecting the speakers! I take it that you want them connected to the Beosystem 1 so that you get a surround system. In this case, the BS1 should be Option 2 and the Beosound Option 0. This however will require the IR receiver of the BS1 to be used and in view. If you do it the other way, the speakers need to be attached

Henry: Jandyt: BTW Henry, Penguins or tadpoles? You've gone mad now Andy! Unless it's me! Penguins!! C'mon I thought this was settled! Although from the angle Henry uses they have always reminded me af characters from 'The Fifth Element'. ;-) Russ

Alex, Since we're in the North America Forum, we must assume that we're talking about a MK3, as no earlier units have some to the States; and since we're talking about getting a 25% discount, I also think we need to assume that money does matter. Personally I love the BV-7-40/US. Unless you have a problem with the screen size, I'd take

You're right about the surround sound, but the rest will be easy. You'll need a length om MasterLink cable to connect the Overture to the Avant. Attach the BeoLab 6000's to the Avant (don't worry, the sockets'll be there), put the Avant in V. Opt 2, and the Overture in A.Opt 1. I confess that I am really only fully familiar with

Unless there has been a recent disaster...(Looking at you Torben...) the plan is to release BeoSound 5 at the end of the 'Fiscal Year', which puts it in April/May. Russ

You will also find that the Panasonic monitors have a curious RS-232 socket which bears a strong resemblance to the one on the BeoSystem 3. Monitors, not TV's. The BS-3 has the Digital tuner in it already (at least on this side of the pond.) Russ

There were only 1,000 produced. Each carried a series number as well as the normal serial number. The Asking price should be higher than normal, assuming that the seller knows what he has. You will not be able to order the replacement grille in the bright yellow without providing B&O with the 8 digit serial number. Denmark is trying to help protect

meling0017: Thanks. What do you mean with getting one with the beolink sticker. I plan to exchange my Beomaster 5500 with the A/V 7000 and also use a power converter to handle the 110 V. Henry Whoa everyone!! The AV-7000 is not exchanged for the BeoMaster...It is added into the system alongside the BeoMaster. All of the speakers are then connected to
